| A Specialized in the fields of telecommunications and finance Company with operations to drive in Africa and West Company, has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic IT-Manager based in Cape Verde (Praie). The IT-Manager is an experienced profile combining technical and managerial skills. He is in charge of the entire information system. Its objective is to align IT with the business objectives of GMT. MISSION You will supervise the IT Department to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems concerning our activities. These efforts will be fulfilled timely, within budget, and in accordance with IT operating standards. Specifically, the IT Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: 1. Ensure consistently strong operational support for all internal systems and users, minimizing any system outages 2. Develop and monitor performance levels of hardware and software, evaluate, recommend and propose alternative methods of information processing. 3. Develop and maintain information architecture (data, applications, networks) ensuring the online system. 4. Identify current and future system needs and provide solutions for the identified needs 5. Monitor backup jobs and ensure the high success rate. 6. Ensure constant technology watch 7. Understand, fully, the legal requirements on IT governance and security 8. Integrate the new technological advances in information system to optimize performance 9. Build strong internal working relationships with all Departments |

| Required skills - Previous IT management experience - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills - 6 years experience in IT Systems deployment - General understanding of IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including networks, databases, MIS, and development methodology - Strong interest in the latest technology and ability to implement - Management of the security services and attacks - Proficiency in technical English - Proficiency in Portuguese is a more - Knowledge of ITIL is greatly appreciated Required qualities - Rigor - Group work and Sense of listening - Openness and sociability - Reactivity and be force proposal - Autonomy - Innovation |
